Tales from the The Wyeths: First Family of American Realism Exhibit Opening

Nashville, Tenn.– Invited guests from near and far attended the private preview party at Haynes Galleries on March 9th. About 125 guests gathered to view the new Haynes Galleries digs and the incredible opening event featuring collection of four generations of "The Wyeths: The First Family of American Realism."

The exhibit included works by N.C., Andrew, Carolyn, Henriette, Jamie and the photography by Victoria Wyeth, daughter of Nicholas and granddaughter of Andrew Wyeth. The crowd ohhed and ahhed over the artwork, much of which has not been seen in Nashville before now.

Nicholas Wyeth attended the event and shared many great stories behind the paintings. He mingled with gathers and generously responded to requests for photographs along with gallerist Gary R. Haynes.

All in all, the opening was a auspicious kick-off event with great art, interesting guests, tasty food and good wine. The promise of events to come have guest thirsting for more!
