Krista M. Schoening

After completing her undergraduate studies at the University of Notre Dame, Krista Schoening spent two years working in humanitarian aid before focusing on her career as an artist. For four years she studied alternately at the Ryder Studio School, in Santa Fe, NM, where she also worked as a studio and administrative assistant to school founder and art instructor, Tony Ryder; and the Studio Escalier in France, where she continues working as a teaching assistant. Her paintings are in private collections in the United States, Europe and the Middle East. She has exhibited art in galleries in the United States and Europe, as well as the Royal Society of Portrait Painters' annual exhibition in London.
